"Announcing our New Identity: Lloyds Steels Industries Limited is now Lloyds Engineering Works Limited - Same Legacy, New Name!" w.e.f from 25th July 2023."
Project involved supply of 1 X 55 TPH Waste heat recovery Boiler suitable for 500 TPD Sponge iron plant and other 4 x 12 TPH Waste heat recovery Boilers.
One No 90 TPH AFBC Boiler is also installed which is Coal & Char fired having the same Steam Pressure and temperature design.
12 TPH each Boiler is designed for Steam Pressure of 69 Kg/Cm2(g) and Temperature of 490 +/- 5 Deg C. Flue gas from each 100 TPD Kilns is 25000 Nm3/Hr at Temp of 900 Dec to 975 Deg C with normal temp being 950 Deg C.
55 TPH Boiler is designed for Steam Pressure of 67 Kg/Cm2(g) and Temperature of 490 +/- 5 Deg C. Flue gas from 500 TPD Kilns is 110000 Nm3/Hr at Temp of 850 Dec to 1000 Deg C with normal temp being 950 Deg C.
90 TPH Boiler is designed for Steam Pressure of 66 Kg/Cm2(g) and Temperature of 490 +/- 5 Deg C.
Each waste heat recovery boilers are Single drum water tube, vertical type with radiant chamber.
Turbine and generator is of 30 MW ratings. Steam provided at the inlet of Steam turbine to produce 30 MW is 121.8 Kg/Cm2(g) Steam Pressure and 490 Deg Centigrade temperature.
Power generated at 11 KV and the same is stepped up to 220 KV for exporting to the Grid.
220 KV Sub station is installed at LMEL Plant for exporting the power to the MSEDCL grid to the nearest MSEDCL substation at Mhatardevi Approx 7 Kms away from the LMEL Plant.
Steam Turbine / Generator building is located separately and Steam piping is running from each Boiler to the Turbine building.
Common DCS system is provided to control the Power plant operation from Turbine building. SCADA package allows to view the complete data related to the Power plant including the Boilers from central control room MMI.
